Creating Assets

In Officetrax Assets are used to represent a template for property that holds value to the company. These assets can be assigned to Locations and in doing so , which is used to track the current value/location of a particular instance of that asset template.


Here's how you create an Assets:

  1. Navigate to your Assets under the Locations & Assets menu in the navigation bar.
  2. Click the Assets button and select New.
  3. Enter all required fields. They are marked with an . For help with some of the fields see below.
  4. Click the Create button.

OR

  1. Click the Create an Asset link in the menu under Locations & Assets.
  2. Enter all required fields. They are marked with an . For help with some of the fields see below.
  3. Click the Create button.

Depreciation Forecast

By entering the information in this section you will be able to view Depreciation Forecasts.


Locations To Create Location Assets For

By Adding Locations in this area you are adding an instance of this asset at a specific Location (Location Asset) which helps you track individual value, location, and other details of that asset at that specific location.
