In Officetrax Assets are used to represent a template for property that holds value to the company. These assets can be assigned to Locations and in doing so will create a Location Asset, which is used to track the current value/location of a particular instance of that asset. The value of a particular Location Asset instance is affected by the Asset Cost, Residual Value, and Lifetime of the Master Asset Template. To track these stats including end of life date, you can use the Depreciation Forecast.
