Feed and Notes

Feeds

Your Feed is an Activity Log that keeps track of the history of a Record. Any actions taken on or with the Record are kept here. Feeds will tell you which user did what action at what time on which date.

In some cases the Feed is also able to display exact changes. For example when you change the name of an Account the Feed will display what the old name was, and what the name was changed to.

Notes

How to leave a Note:

  1. Navigate to the Record you wish to write a note on and click on the Feed tab.
  2. Press the Post a note button.
  3. Write your new note and press Post. For extra actions see the section below.

Tagging Notes

How to tag a note

  1. Click on the button next to the Post button on your note.
  2. Write all your tags in the provided text box.
  3. Press Enter after each tag to insert it.

Emailing Notes

The recipients of the note you email out will get a copy of the note that you write.

How to email a copy of a Note:

  1. Click on the button next to the Post button on your note.
  2. Press the button to select email addresses.

OR

  1. Click on the button next to the Post button on your note.
  2. Manually enter the email address you want to sent a copy of this note to.
  3. Press Enter after each email address to enter it.

Tip: You can Filter by types of Records when you're searching for email addresses. The filter is at the top of the Find Records pop-up.

Syncing Notes

Syncing notes allows you to share the note with either an electronic Service Provider working on that work order, or with the person who has dispatched the work order to you. The note will be visible from their Officetrax application.

Note: Syncing notes is only available when leaving notes in Work Orders.

How to sync a Note:

  1. Click on the button next to the Post button on your note.
  2. The people who are able to receive your note should be auto-filled in the sync area.
  3. Press the to search for any other available people to sync with.
