An Inventory Category can be used to create a division or separation of inventory items that have particular or shared characteristics.
Here's how you create a new Category:
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Categories from Inventory Settings.
- Select the New Category option at the top of the screen.
- Give your new category a name in the blank field provided and press the Create button to complete.
