Default Work Order Type

A Work Order Type is a Type that you can specify to categorize/organize your work orders and filter them. When you choose a default type, all new Work Orders will be defaulted to that Type (which can be changed in Work Order creation if needed). This saves you from having to change your Work Order Type each time you create a Work Order. You can learn more about creating work order types here.

How to set your Default Work Order Type:

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Click on Work Order Settings from the Maintenance settings.
  3. Select a Default Work Order Template from the dropdown under Defaults.
  4. Click Submit.
